Debut Album, Tidepool, Now Available

I am very happy to announce that my debut solo effort TIDEPOOL is now available to the public! It's been many years since I completed one conscious collection of thematically linked tunes, and I am psyched to be able to get this out to people.

My influence in creating Tidepool by and large has been the natural beauty of Northern California: the natural rhytms created by the sun, moon, and tides, as well as the wild creatures that inhabit this region. Musically, it's definitely a departure from my more rhythmic, beat-focused productions favoring instead the field recordings and ambient produtions of luminaries such as Aphex Twin and Brian Eno, as well as more recent artists, Benoit Pioulard, James Holden, and Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith.

CannabiDroid at Harvest

Thanks to everyone who came out to CannabiDroid at Harvest Shop last week! Here is a video of my performance, courtesy of my man, Normalien. Sadly, I have no images or video of him performing. Sorry bro!

It was great to be able to perform some experimental electronic music for a very appreciative audience. I was also really psyched to play with some visuals for my fellow performers on Harvest's huge smart TV. Though this iPhone recorded video doesn't do the HD resolution on the TV justice, you can get a feeling for the flavor from this video of modular luminary, Doug Lynner playing.

Lastly, here's a few B+W shots of the event...

Thanks for making it out everyone! I hope to be hosting some more events like this in the future.
