Interesting interview with abstract electronic musician and improv Buchla Sound Easel player, Charles Cohen.
In it, he discusses becoming a musician, why laptop concerts suck, and what performing music has in common with psychotherapy. Very intelligent, thoughtful dude, for sure...
I enjoy his music, and think he does a good job in this interview at drawing the thru-line between classical music, jazz, and improvisational synth noodling.
Sadly, he's run into some trouble of late... But his music is gorgeously alien.
